8 Die In Zupco Fuel Tanker Collision

8 people died on Wednesday morning when a Zupco bus collided head on with a fuel tanker at the 168 km peg along the Harare Bulawayo road.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the accident to ZTN.

“The ZRP reports the death of 8 people in a fatal Road Traffic Accident which occurred at the 168km peg along Harare-Bulawayo Road between 12 midnight when a ZUPCO bus had a collision with a tanker.”

“Thirty one (31) people were critically injured and are admitted at Kadoma General Hospital,” police further said.
