Black Rhinos Queens Face Sundowns In Final

BLACK Rhinos Queens will conquer Southern Africa if they beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the final of the 2021 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League Cosafa qualifier on Saturday.

Winner between the two clubs will earn a ticket to be part of the inaugural Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League set for Egypt in October.

The Zimbabwe side beat Double Action of Botswana 2-0 while Sundowns edged Green Buffaloes of Zambia 1-0 in the semi-finals.

For the Zimbabwean club Mavis Charandu and Marjory Nyaumwe were on target in the first half while Melinda Kgadiete scored for Sundowns.

Black Rhinos’ win became the third straight victory at the tournament and they are yet to concede a goal.

In the group stages, they had beaten Green Buffaloes of Zambia 2-0 and Tura Magic of Namibia 3-0.
