Boy accused of raping two minors

A fifteen-year-old boy from Harare’s Stoneridge Park, appeared in court on Monday morning facing charges of raping two minors aged 4 and 5.

The boy, whose name is being held because he is also a minor, is said to have visited the victims’ home on April 19 and started playing with them on a bed.

It is alleged that he later asked the duo to undress while he also removed his clothes.

The accused then proceeded to perform sexual acts on them, the court was told.

The matter came to light when one of the girls complained of severe pain on her genitals while being bathed by her mother.

That is when the girls narrated their ordeal.

 Harare Magistrate Dennis Mangosi released the accused into his mother’s custody.

He is set to appear in court on the 18th of June.
