Breaking news: Warriors starting line-up

Zimbabwe coach Joey Antipas has announced the starting line-up for the second leg preliminary round World Cup qualifier against Somalia this afternoon at the National Sports Stadium.

The Warriors are desperate to progress to the next stage of the qualifying phase, and Antipas has deployed an offensive set-up to overturn the 0-1 first leg defeat.

Baroka FC goal minder, Elvis Chipezeze has received the nod again to guard the goal area, stand-inn captain, Alec Mudimu and Turkey based defender Teenage Hadebe will provide shield at the heart of defence.

Divine Lunga and Ian Nekati will provide width on either side of the backline, while Marshall Munetsi will be deployed to provide the much needed midfield solidity.

Ovidy Karuru has been thrust as a creative hub, while star man Khama Billiat will play a free role operating behind central striker Clive Augusto.

Kudakwashe Mahachi and Evans Rusike will be operating on either side of Augusto in an all attack minded set-up.
