EAGLES could take advantage of a weakened Tuskers side when they clash in a Pro-50 match at Takashinga on Friday.

Tuskers have key players in the national team set to travel to Bangladesh on Friday for a test match, one day internationals and T20 matches.

While Eagles will miss Tinotenda Mtombodzi, Tuskers will be without Craig Ervine who is captain of the Chevrons for the test match. Other Tuskers layers travelling include Christopher Mpofu, Ainsley Ndlovu and Sikandar Raza.

On Wednesday Tuskers needed Luke Jongwe’s half century, Ervine’s 40 and Ndlovu’s impressive 4 off 36 balls to beat Rhinos by 49 runs at Harare Sports Club.

In the other pro-50 match set for Friday, Rhinos will be without Carl Mumba and Prince Masvaure when they face Rangers. Rangers on the other hand will miss Brendan Taylor and Charlton Tshuma.

Zimbabwe cricket say the Chevrons will leave for Dhaka on Friday and “will first face the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in a two-day practice match scheduled for 18-19 February before the test match.

Captain Sean Williams has pulled out of the test match and will re-join the team for the ODIs and T20s later.

The ODIs will take place on 1,3 and 6 March in Syhlet while the T20s will be on 9 and 11 March in Dhaka.
