Chevrons shift base

THE Chevrons are hoping for better fortunes in Chattogram after shifting base from Dhaka, where they suffered back to back defeats, in the ongoing T20 Tri-series.
After a three-wicket defeat to Bangladesh and 28 runs loss to Afghanistan last week the Chevrons are now focusing Wednesday’s clash against hosts Bangladesh and Friday’s Afghanistan challenge.
Zimbabwe Cricket announced that the team had good training on Monday upon arrival in Chattogram.
Although the first match against Bangladesh was close and had twists and turns as the home team won in the last over, the same cannot be said of the second game.
Seven sixes by Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Nabi from seven balls was the major highlight as Afghanistan made 197 for 5. The Chevrons had no response to that as they only managed 169 for 7.
