Commuter Operators Seek Concessions

Zimbabwe has been facing challenges in importing fuel, due to foreign currency shortages. Fuel dealers have made the situation worse through hiking the price of the commodity as well as selling it on the black market. Commuter bus operators have struggled to access fuel and are also facing competition from the Zimbabwe United Passenger Company (ZUPCO) whose fuel has been subsidised by government. They are now appealing to government for a similar arrangement. ZTN Reporter Leroy Dzenga has more.
