Covid-19 lockdown: Police tighten conditions of entry into Harare’s CBD

Police have tightened Covid-19 lockdown conditions of getting into the central business district in Harare, in a move which has seen several cars and individuals being turned back home.
Contacted for comment, Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said he was locked up in a meeting to regularize the lockdown operations currently underway.
The move is widely seen as an enforcement of lockdown conditions announced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to fight the Coronavirus.
