False start to Zim Minister’s court case

Zimbabwe’s Presidential Affairs Minister in charge of Implementation and Monitoring Joram Gumbo who was arrested on graft charges on Monday has been taken back to the Zimbabwe anti-corruption commission head office ahead of his initial court appearance.

Gumbo was scheduled to appear before the Harare magistrates court for initial remand at 10:15 am on Tuesday facing four counts of criminal abuse of office.

His lawyer Selby Hwacha told ZTN, “I’m not sure what the situation is at the moment. But we have been asked to come back to Zacc offices and that’s where we are.”
