TENDO Electronics have vowed to play a big part in developing five-aside
soccer in Zimbabwe. This is after winning the sole ticket to watch Liverpool in action in England in the Standard Chartered Cup recently.
Tendo Electronics patron Mike Kamungeremu expressed his delight.
“We are very happy for winning this competition, and it is a huge reward for the investment we have put in place over the years. “I want to thank the club president Chatanga Badza and the coach Phineas Tundu for their good work,” he said.
“After the Liverpool trip we wish to continue playing a positive role in the development of five-aside in Zimbabwe and we are taking the opportunity to learn when our team goes there.“I am grateful to the sponsors for making this a reality and hopefully this will continue and not only benefit us but others as well,” said Kamungeremu.
The travelling players are Farai Bosha, Nathan Mangisi, Allan Nyachuru, Lincoln Saramaya, Ashley Inusa, Peter Bunjira and Calistus Keche.
