Five million Zimbabweans in need of Food Aid

World Food Programme Executive Director, David Beasley, says with over 5 million people in Zimbabwe estimated to be in urgent need of food assistance, due to the El Nino induced drought, government should come up with strategies that will ensure food security in the southern African country.
He was guest of honour at the launch of the revised Zimbabwe humanitarian appeal in the capital Harare on Tuesday.
