Former Warriors coaches, Rahman Gumbo, Lloyd Mutasa and current Zimbabwe goalkeepers coach Tembo Tshuma, have joined premiership side TelOne, to save the club from relegation.

Gumbo was brought in to save the team from the dreaded chop, and has managed two wins and a draw in his first four games in charge.

After his good efforts, his club has now agreed to bring in more experienced hands in the technical set-up. Mutasa, a former Dynamos and FC Platinum coach, has been recruited together with Tshuma.

“TelOne football club is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Lloyd Mutasa and Mr Tembo Tshuma as first assistant coach and goalkeepers coach with immediate effect,” said club president Lloyd Mutetwa in a statement.

The addition of the two experienced coaches will likely cause panic in some teams which are fighting relegation.
