Fuel prices drop marginally

ZIMBABWEANS will breathe a sigh of relief this week following a marginal drop in the price of fuel.

The price of petrol dropped by nine cents, while that for diesel will now be four cents cheaper, a price list released by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority shows.

The drop is attributed to Free On Board costs associated with insurance and comes barely a week after a 12 percent hike in the cost of fuel.

From a recommended price of RTGS$17.47, diesel will now be sold at RTGS$17.43 while petrol will be sold at RTGS$16.66.
