Harare water crisis: main plant shuts down

Harare faces what could be the worst water crisis in years after the local authority shut down the city’s main water treatment plant, Morton Jaffray, on Monday morning.

The local authority’s spokesperson Michael Chideme cited shortage of water treatment chemicals as the reason for the shut down.
