Human Leg Found Floating in Zimbabwe River

A human leg was found floating in a river in Zimbabwe’s third largest city, Gweru, on Wednesday.

The victim’s shoe was firmly intact on his foot when a resident alerted police.

Detectives are now on the case.

Zimbabwe Republic Police provincial spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said: “(Officers) who attended the scene found that it was a male right lower limb which had an Adidas sneaker with red, black and white colours of approximately size nine. The limb has been taken to Gweru Hospital mortuary.”
