I Want My Players To Be Flexible – Mapeza

WARRIORS coach Norman Mapeza says he respects the opinion of his players.

Mapeza told ZTN that he will need to talk to some of them about positions before they plunge into battle on Saturday against the Black Stars of Ghana.

“I will speak to the boys and find out which positions they think they can play to the best of their ability,” said Mapeza.

“If I feel like I need someone like Munetsi (Marshal) playing in the centre-back, if he’s comfortable then I’ll do that.”

Mapeza added that he also needs to talk to Nakamba so that he can give him his opinion on where he feels he can give the team the best.

In the past, Warriors coaches used Nakamba in a holding role while Munetsi was the box-to-box player.

Left back Jordan Zemura was also used in midfield despite playing left back for Bournemouth.
