Ireland on course

ZTN Sports Reporter
IRELAND gave themselves a chance for a quarter-final place after they dismissed Russia 35-0 in Kobe on Thursday.
It was a match in which Rob Kearney, Peter O’Mahony and Rhys Ruddock scored first-half tries before Andrew Conway got the much needed bonus point later in the game.
As things stand, a five-point win over Samoa in Fukuoka in nine days time will take Ireland through to the quarter-finals.
