KAIZER Chiefs star Willard Katsande says they are not under pressure ahead of their crucial showdown with Baroka.

The Soweto giants could be crowned champions if they win Saturday’s match, depending on how Mamelodi Sundowns perform against Black Leopards.

The two clubs are both on the same points, with Kaizer having a superior goal difference of three.

“It’s that time of the season whereby everyone is looking forward to the outcome of the last game of the season,” Katsande said.

“We are very much aware of the goal difference and all we have to do is win our match tomorrow.

“We are not feeling any pressure but they are feeling it because if they are to win, they have to score more goals.”

Chances are high Kaizer Chiefs could win, but the fact that Sundowns managed to score three past Polokwane in their last game, could be an indication they have momentum.

Sundowns will need a minimum four goal margin and hope that Kaizer win by a narrow margin or better still, lose.

“We are at an advantage and for Baroka to win this one they have to score at least about five goals. For us, just one win, we will seal the title.”

Sundowns last won by at least a four goal margin on 24 August 2019 against Otoho in a CAF Champions League match. It has been 38 competitive games since then without the margin they need to win the title on Saturday.

Kaizer Chiefs on the other hand will be hoping that Khama Billiat comes to the party again, like he did against Chippa in their last game.

“God is on our side, we have the right frame of mind and I’m happy that Khama is going to be there when we need him the most,” said Katsande.
