Khama To Stay At Kaizer Chiefs?

KHAMA Billiat now looks certain to stay at Kaizer Chiefs and prove why he is the best-paid footballer in South Africa, his manager has hinted.

The Soweto giants have separated with German coach Ernst Middendorp after failure to win the league title on the last day.

Now, chances are high they could appoint Gavin Hunt or former coach Stuart Baxter.

Khama, who had a complex relationship with Middendorp, had one of his worst seasons in the ABSA Premiership.

“He still has a year on his contract with Chiefs,” Godfrey Bakasa said, without adding much.

Chances are high the decision to stay was made after it became certain that a new coach was coming in.

Mamelodi Sundowns, who are seeking to win the CAF Champions League again and has been strengthening their team, have been linked with the player.
