Loga picks his men

Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic has picked his provisional 28-men squad for the 2020 African Nations Championships.
The squad was revealed exclusively to ZTN Sports, and is awaiting official release by the Zimbabwe Football Association later today.
The Croatian has admitted that his knowledge about the local ensemble of the Warriors is minimum and had to rely on the benevolence of local coaches.
“I was depending on the coaches I spoke to. I spoke with about seven coaches, and each coach gave me a list of 24 players, each coach separately.
“Then I put together a list of 20 players, the players who were most applicable from the list by coaches, and few of them I took by myself.
“Each coach would choose two players for the same position separately and then each coach submitted, so the most common names for each position were chosen.
“If all coaches are saying one player is good he should be good this is what I did,” said Logarusic.
There were however, surprise omissions like Ngezi Platinum holding midfielder Gerald Takwara who missed out on the initial list.
Logarusic however, said the door was not closed on those who missed out from the initial list, and that if time permits he might add a few more players.
