Man In Court For Stealing A Ministry Vehicle

A repeat offender, 38-year-old Cloud Nzwengende has appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi facing fresh robbery charges.
Nzwengende and his two accomplices who are still at large, assaulted the complainant Lewis Rocha with clenched fists, open hands, booted foot and an okapi knife in order to steal a double cab vehicle belonging to the Ministry of
Agriculture.
The value of the stolen property is $1 008 000. The property was later recovered.
Cloud was positively identified by the complainants and the stolen vehicle was recovered in his possession.
The accused has other pending cases of assault, theft, robbery and aggravated assault.
He has been remanded to the 12 th of May and has been advised to apply for bail at the High Court.
