Residents of Zimbabwe’s capital Harare, today, got up to a rather curious spectacle of a man draped in anti-sanctions graffiti.

The mysterious man also held a placard inscribed with the famous statement “my bones will surely rise” attributed to the First Chimurenga War hero Mbuya Charwe, the medium of the Nehanda spirit.

Passers-by mused at him as he staged his little act at the corner of First Street Mall and Speke Avenue, on the eve of Zimbabwe’s anti-sanctions march.

The man, who refused to give his name, also declined to speak on camera on the reasons behind his mini drama.
