Manhunt for Chinamhora wife killer

Constance Nyamukapa, a Chinamhora woman was allegedly murdered by her husband on Friday midnight over suspected infidelity.

Police in Mashonaland East Province have since launched a manhunt for the suspect Masiiwa Kasirori.

”Police in Mashonaland East are looking for the suspect Masiiwa Kasirori who is wanted in connection with the murder of his wife. Police attended the scene and discovered that there was a pool of blood in the deceased’s bedroom on the floor but no weapon was found,” said Mashonaland East police spokesperson, Inspector Tendai Mwanza.

The accused is alleged to have had a misunderstanding with the now deceased over their last born child whom he claimed not to have fathered.

Inspector Mwanza appealed to members of the public to assist police with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect and urged families to desist from using violence to settle personal differences.

”We are appealing to anyone who might have information on the whereabouts of the suspect to immediately contact any nearest police station. It is very disturbing to note that domestic related murders are increasing. People need to exercise restraint and avoid using violence as a solution to any dispute,” he said.
