A 38-year-old Chitungwiza man has appeared before the courts on murder allegations.
Investigators heard that on the 30th of January at a car park in front of Gore Sports Bar, Gazaland, Wilson Chiyadzwa was guarding a motor vehicle which was being repaired by the accused Cleopas Kumire.
The now deceased Wilson Chiyadzwa asked Kumire about a USD$60 he owed him, which he had not paid up. Kumire took a wooden plank from under the vehicle and struck Chiyadzwa on the right side of his head and all over his body.
Kumire then went away leaving Chiyadzwa fighting for his life. Chiyadzwa spent the night in one of the cars at the car park and was found dead the following morning.
Harare Magistrate Yeukai Dzuda remanded Kumire in custody to the 24th of February and advised him to approach the High Court for bail.
