Mhofu snubs Josta

WARRIORS coach Sunday Chidzambwa has named a 32-man provisional squad for the 2020 CHAN qualifier against Mauritius on Sunday with the exclusion of inform Caps United midfielder Joel Ngodzo the biggest talking point.
Ngodzo has been on fire for Makepekepe but Chidzambwa and his assistants seem to believe he is not good enough to wear the national shirt.
What a shame!
The most notable inclusions see the uncapped duo of FC Platinum midfielder Kelvin Madzongwe and league top scorer Clive Augusto of Chicken Inn making the cut.
However, the are no places for FC Platinum’s Farai Madhanaga, Dynamos’ Emmanuel Jalayi and Chapungu’s Blessed Mbavarira who have been impressive for their respective clubs.
Zifa confirmed the squad in a statement and said training is starting tomorrow ahead of Friday’s departure.
“Players have already convened for camp and training will commence on 23 July,” reads part of the statement.
