Mighty Warriors Date South Africa In Cosafa Semis

Zimbabwe’s Mighty Warriors will meet South Africa in the semifinals of the 2019 Cosafa Women’s Championship following a 7-0 thrashing of Eswatini at the Wolfson Stadium Monday.
Zimbabwe topped group C with a 100% record, a 4-1 win over Mozambique, a 4-0 triumph against Angola and Monday’s huge victory over Eswatini.

Emmalulate Msipa ran riot scoring four times for Zimbabwe as they cruised to the win, while Mavis Chirandu grabbed a brace and another goal from Rudo Neshamba taking her tally to five this far.
The win perfectly sets up a gigantic match up in the last four with hosts South Africa who also topped group A with a perfect record.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe also sealed a quarter-final place in the inaugural 2019 Cosafa Women’s Under-20 Championship but will have to wait for Tuesday’s matches to find out who they will play. Talent Bizeki and Praynence Zvawanda scored a goal each while Dinah Banda grabbed a brace as Zimbabwe made light work of Namibia 4-0 in another resounding win.
