Muduhwa in South Africa but move unlikely

Highlanders defender Peter Muduhwa is reportedly in South Africa pushing through a move to National First Division side TS Galaxy.

The Bosso defender confirmed that he is in South Africa but said it was a personal visit.

“I’m in South Africa visiting my brother who is not feeling well and will be coming back home next week.

“There was a time when I got a call from someone saying TS Galaxy were interested in my services, but I told them to speak to Highlanders, I don’t know what happened after that,” he said.

The move is now unlikely with the South African club preferring to get him as a free agent instead.

Contacted for comment Highlanders could not say anything about the supposed move except to say that the central defender was contracted to them until the end of 2020.
