‘NAKAMBA PUSHES YOU TO DO MORE’

WARRIORS fullback Takudzwa Chimwemwe believes teammate Marvelous Nakamba is a reminder to work hard.

Chimwemwe, who played with the Aston Villa star at national youth level, was re-united with the defensive midfielder against Malawi on Sunday away.

Zimbabwe managed a goalless draw in that international friendly match, with Chimwemwe pointing out that lack of proper training before the game was a big factor.

“We didn’t get a lot of time to training together. But as (some of us) were on pre-season, considering the way we played, we did well.

“It was a good thing playing alongside Marve. We once played together at under 23 and it is something that continues to push you to achieve more in your career,” said Chimwemwe.
