New Aids council board: Zim begins search

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr Obadiah Moyo, says Government will not be rushed into appointing a new National Aids Council board without following due process.

NAC has been operating without a board for almost five months after the dissolution of the previous board and some sections of civil society now feel that the appointment of a new board by Government is long overdue.

However, Dr Moyo insists that Government is making every effort to ensure that the new NAC board is made up of competent people.
