Ngoni Makusha Living His Dream

ZIMBABWE sprinter Ngoni Makusha says he is ready to give his best at the Tokyo Olympic games.

The 27-year-old is one of five athletes representing Zimbabwe at the games that begin on 23 July. Makusha’s declaration comes just days after International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach called Tokyo the best ever prepared city.

This is despite Covid-19 derailing the games since last year.

Makusha’s best records in both the 100 metre and 200 metre races makes him a rank outsider, but he explained to ZTN why he is living his dream.

“Rome was never built in one day,” he said.
