FC Platinum’s Congolese midfielder Gyven Nsiala Mawete says they will use the CAF Champions’ League group game against Etoile Du Sahel to improve their team.

The Zimbabwean representatives are winless in the mini-league phases, with four defeats and a draw in five matches.

They will not be progressing beyond the mini-league, and talk is that they need to play for pride.

The Congolese is always oozing with confidence on and off the field of play and seems to be unfazed by the fact that they are already out of Africa’s premier club knock-out competition.

“Football is a game where you never stop learning and becoming a better player.

“The CAF Champions league affords us that chance and we are ready to make life difficult for Etoile Du Sahel on Saturday,” says Mawete.

The miners are in Tunisia for the final group game, and they will want to leave the competition on a good note.

The Zimbabwean champions have reached the mini-league phase on two consecutive occasions, but have performed dismally on both attempts.
