MALAWIAN side, Nyasa Big Bullets, crashed out of the CAF Champions League in the first preliminary round 4-0 aggregate loss to Simba SC of Tanzania.
Bullets – coached by Zimbabwean coach Kalisto Pasuwa – suffered a 2-0 defeat in Tanzania on Sunday, having lost with an identical scoreline at home last week.
The result saw another unsuccessful run for the Zimbabwean tactician in Africa’s top-tier interclub competition.
The Malawian champions are yet to go beyond the first round of the tournament under Pasuwa.
Pasuwa also had four unsuccessful runs with Dynamos in the Champions League, failing to reach the group stage.
He has, however, managed to win three successive domestic league titles since joining Nyasa in 2018.
He is on course to grab a fourth triumph as his side has a twelve-point lead gap at the top with eight games to play. – ZTN Correspondent/Wires
