Preps gather momentum at Come Again

Despite their last-minute inclusion in the league, Zimbabwe’s Northern Region Division One side, Come Again, have put shoulders to the wheel in their preparations for the upcoming season.
Come Again had to wait for a verdict from the Zifa appeals committee after their match against Cuma was abandoned after fans had invaded the pitch.
Come Again had finished on top of the log with 62 points whilst Cuma finished on 60, so they had to wait for the abandoned game, with the verdict being passed on December 30, 2019 awarding points to Come Again.
“We are going ahead with preparations for the 2020 season since we have the verdict from Zifa to go ahead.
“Actually, we are going to have trials on the 18th of January 2020 in Norton and we are targeting youngsters although the final say about players is with our coach,” said vice-chairman Dick Dumba.
Dumba added that they will continue with the coaches they already have.
“We are going to continue with the coaches we have, our head coach former Caps United Player Wonder Ngoko has been with the team all along and we are fine with what he has brought to us so far. So there is no need to change for now, but if we decide to change we will let you know.”
