Zimbabwe Warriors and Highlanders forward Prince Dube’s move to China hangs in the balance amid growing interest from Zambian side Nkana FC.

Dube completed a trial stint with Chinese second-tier club Shaanxi Chang’an Athletic, but his club Highlanders are yet to get any offer for the striker.

Club CEO Nhlanhla Dube confirmed the developments to The Sunday News.

“We are yet to get an update on the outcome of the trials. We will know in the next few days, so far there’s no offer,’’ Dube said.

However, the club has reportedly opened negotiations with Nkana from Zambia. Highlanders are desperate to cash in on the in-form 22-year-old to cover the club’s fiscal obligations for the 2020 season.

British expatriate coach Mark Harrison has made life easier for the club authorities after agreeing to promote a number of players from the team’s developmental ranks.
