ENGLAND and South Africa have continued with their war of words before their 2019 Rugby World Cup final in Japan on Saturday.

The Springboks had vowed to “fight fire with fire” and now England’s Billy Vunipola has said they are ready.

“Bring it on,” he was quoted by the BBC.

“South Africa are very big people but then again we have a few big blokes on our team.” Vunipola was a big factor in the semi-finals.

England brushed aside New Zealand in the semi-final in what was one of the biggest upsets at the Rugby World Cup. South Africa on the other hand had to dig deep to get the better of Wales, only managing to force their way in what was a very tight match.

On the battle with Vermeulen, Vunipola said: “I’ve played against them a few times and he’s got up so I’m going to try my best to win that little battle.
“I played against him last summer and he was monumental in terms of getting them those two victories.”
