ZIMBABWE will once again come under the spotlight, as the southern African country hosts the 12th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Travel Expo, from September 12 to 14.
Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) acting Chief Executive, Givemore Chidzidzi, expressed optimism over the expo’s prospects, pointing out that over 260 exhibitors have confirmed their participation.
Of the 5 378 spaces available, Chidzidzi said 4 181 had already been booked. The tourism bonanza is expected to breathe life into the country’s tourism sector, a key foreign currency earner for the Zimbabwean economy.
Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo is an annual Tourism Trade Fair organised by the ZTA. It showcases the widest variety of Africa’s best tourism products, and attracts international visitors and media from across the world.
