Sex workers up for robbing client

FOUR sex workers and their male colleague have been nabbed on allegations of robbing a client of his cellphone and US$600, accusing him of messing bed sheets.
The allegation of messing sheets came after the client, Stanford Madyara, had cancelled a sexual transaction by one of the ladies and chose another one.
Aisha Marira, 19, Manford Ngomo, 29, Belinda Zeze, 25, Rutendo Chivhuta, 31, and Natasha Moyo, 23, were not asked to plead to robbery charges when they appeared before a Harare magistrate on Wednesday.
They were remanded in custody to Thursday for their bail application.
It is the State’s case that on October 10 one Stanford Madyara hooked up with one Aisha Marira at Gail Court and they agreed to have a sexual transaction for US$10.
Reports are that when they got in the house, Madyara changed his mind and entered into another transaction with another lady who was also in the house, who agreed.
Claims are that one of the ladies then accused him of messing her sheets and the suspects together with three others came and threatened him, demanding money for the alleged mess which he declined to pay.
The suspects are alleged to have gone on and started assaulting him, grabbing him by the neck while the other suspects were searching his pockets and made away with his Samsung Galaxy M13 and US$600.
Madyara managed to flee and reported to the police leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Zeze was allegedly found in possession of the cellphone.
