Former Chicken Inn midfielder Bravie Ayanda Sibanda is desperate to make an impression at South Africa’s National First Division side Uthongathi FC.

Sibanda left the country this month for a trial stint with the KZN-based club following the expiry of his contract with Chicken Inn last season.

Speaking to B-Metro, Sibanda said he is an orphan and desperate to get a good contract to be able to take care of his siblings.

“I didn’t get enough game time at Chicken Inn in the past season and that is why I decided to go club hunting.

“This was coupled with the fact that salaries and other benefits in South Africa are always attractive.

“I lost my parents some time ago and I have been taking care of my siblings with the little that I was getting at Chicken Inn.

“I will be here for two weeks and I am confident that everything will go well,” said Sibanda.

If he makes the grade he will join compatriot Cleopas Dube who joined the side last year following his release from Witbank Spurs.
