Springboks dismiss Italy

AFTER their 49-3 victory over Italy on Friday, South Africa are aware that another win over Canada on Tuesday will likely secure a quarter-final berth.

The Springboks were impressive as they earned a bonus point against Italy during a game in which Andrea Lovotti was also sent off.

Lovotti’s red became the fourth at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, a joint highest from previous two tournaments in 1995 and 1999.

The two-time champions, South Africa, had lost to the All-Blacks in their opening match.
