A South African court on Monday jailed two Zimbabwean nationals to 165-years imprisonment each for armed robberies they committed on hitch hikers, along the N1 highway in Limpopo province.

A Musina magistrate handed the lengthy prison terms to the duo of Farai Mabosvo (29) and Jane Mukutiri (38) who were each convicted on 11 counts of robberies.

They were slapped with 15 years for each count.

According to Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the two were arrested in connection with robbery cases they committed between 2014 and 2015.
