A delegation led by Vice-President Kembo Mohadi is on its way to Singapore to repatriate the body of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe.
The National Hero died in the Oriental city-state last Friday and will be buried this Sunday.
Family spokesperson Leo Mugabe told ZTN News that the delegation left Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, at 09:45 hrs on Monday.
The body is expected in Zimbabwe on Wednesday.
He said, “The delegation comprises Mike Bimha, Gabriel Mugabe, Albert Mugabe and his mother, Chief Karigamombe and former Senate President Edna Madzongwe.
“Our Chiefs are responsible for the body of the late President, and will be communicating (as proceedings unfold).”
