At least 10 people died on the spot while several others were injured, after the buses they were travelling in, collided at the 232km peg along Harare-Bulawayo Road in Zimbabwe’s Midlands province.
Midlands Provincial Affairs Minister Larry Mavima said the accident occurred around 4.30 am (CAT) on Sunday.
One bus with inter-country traders was heading to Gokwe and the other to Gweru, a city in the same province.
The driver of the Gokwe-bound bus is said to have lost control, resulting in the crash.
