Air Zimbabwe will suspend it’s Harare – Johannesburg frequency tomorrow in response to the COVID19 but says it will maintain domestic flights and the Dar-es-Salaam flights.

In a statement Air Zimbabwe disclosed that school tours and other charters were cancelled until further notice.

“Continued operations remain guided by directives from the government as well as World Health Organisation and International Civil Aviation Organisation guidelines,” Air Zimbabwe said.

On the continent, over 30 flag carriers have grounded flights and suspended operations in an aim to curb the spread of the virus across borders.
