The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) June 2020 Ordinary and Advanced level results are out, with the pass rate marginally falling compared to last year.
This year’s O level pass rate is down to 17.91 percent from 23.06 percent in 2019. The A level pass rate dropped to 67.06 percent from last year’s 68.6 percent.
Announcing the results, Chairperson of the Zimsec board, Professor Eddie Mwenje, said the delay in the writing, marking and publication of the June 2020 results was due to mitigatory measures that were put in place to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
Heads of examination centres can collect the results, starting tomorrow (Friday).
