Zimbabwe is set to receive more rains during the weekend, the Meteorological Services Department has said.
Southern parts of the country are set to receive most of the rains.
Meteorological Services Department forecaster James Ngoma said, “We are expecting scattered thunderstorms, across much of the country with light rain and a cooling breeze in the Southern parts starting tomorrow.”
“Also expecting a bit of thunderstorms in those areas and a lot of rain as well as we get into the weekend, therefore we still advise that the probability of localised heavy down pours is still a high potential and the threat of lightning strikes is still of great concern.
So we advise the general public that when thunder roars, its best to be indoors,” Ngoma said.
