Zimbabwe’s Covid-19 deaths have been declining since Friday, with 47 recorded over two days.
Friday had 30 deaths while Saturday recorded 17.
On Thursday alone, 48 deaths had been recorded.
Zimbabwe has 683 deaths since the first recorded fatality in March 2020.
Cumulatively, the country has 26 881 confirmed cases, including 15 872 recoveries.
The national recovery rate stands at 59 percent while active cases are 10 326.
To help tame the spread of the disease, Zimbabwe is on lockdown following an exponential rise in cases during the festive season.
The Government has set an ambitious target to vaccinate at least 80 percent of the population once negotiations with potential suppliers of the vaccine, China, Russia and the World Health Organisation have been completed.
