Zimbabwe’s former Labour and Social Welfare Minister Petronella Kagonye has been arrested on allegations of fraud and illegal sale of State land.

Kagonye was picked up on Sunday by the Special Anti-Corruption Unit (SACU) for the crimes she allegedly committed in the capital, Harare, and Mashonaland East Province.

National Police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said Kagonye is in police custody.
