WORLD Boxing Organisation Africa welterweight champion Brendon “Boika” Denes says he is ready for the deep waters.
The Zimbabwean boxer, who is still bubbling with confidence after his latest Dubai victory over Ahmad Samir Dawran of Afghanistan in a non-title fight, could face a big test in August.
And he is aware the planned World Class Boxing Tournament, launched in Harare this week, comes with big challenges.
“It is going to be world class and it is a big opportunity for me to feature in such a tournament,” he said. “I will prepare very well to deliver the best for my country.”
But before the August tournament, Boika will warm up in Tanzania.
“I don’t want to talk much about the Tanzanian fight, but everyone knows that I will be in shape,”
