DYNAMOS coach Tonderai Ndiraya says he is aware there are no friendly matches between his side and Highlanders.
For that reason, the Glamour Boys are taking seriously their Independence trophy clash at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
“It is expected when the two teams meet. … I can say in short we do not engage in friendly matches,” Ndiraya said.
It has been 12 months since the country witnessed at least two local clubs in competitive action.
The Sunday game will be the first time that local clubs play football without fans as part of the government’s set guidelines under the Covid-19 pandemic.
