Thailand Women Beat Zim

NATTAYA Boochatham was the star of the day for Thailand on Friday at Takashinga in Harare, with five wickets picked as the tourists won by 22-runs in the second unofficial one-day match.
Thailand had won the toss and opted to bat, with the Nattaya Boochatham and Wongpaka Liengprasert partnership giving them a solid start.
And their 229 total proved enough on a day in which Josephine Nkomo’s five wickets did not count.
Zimbabwe’s Modester Mupachikwa, bowled out for a duck, seemed to have been the turning point.
Not even captain Mary-Anne Musonda’s half century could save the day as Thailand levelled the
series.
Zimbabwe only managed 207 in their 50 overs.
